MONDAYS-7 CLASSES
December 11, 2017-February 26, 2018

 BASKETBALL
(Multiple Classes:  Kindergarten/TK and 1st-3rd)

Get your Child prepared early to play on the WISH-FIYA Basketball Team, starting in the 4th Grade.  Students will have a Lot of FUN as they improve their Basketball skills.  This Basketball class focuses on solid individual player fundamentals and organized team play.   All students participate in athletic basketball drills that will enhance their skills; and they will play organized Mini-Games to reinforce skills and rules.   Drills and lessons will consist of dribbling, shooting, passing, team strategy and SPORTSMANSHIP! 
NOTE:  If your K/TK Child hasn't developed his/her skills yet (e.g., Dribbling), then we will teach them).  Min/Max:  6/10 for K/TK and 6/12 for 1st-3rd.

ACTING/IMPROV
(Multiple Classes:  K/TK & 1st-3rd)

Students will have TONS OF FUN as they develop their skills through theater games (e.g., the 5 senses game, imitating animate and inanimate objects, etc.) and improvisation (e.g., going on a field trip to the beach or zoo).  Other benefits of this class will include developing public speaking and communication skills, creativity, spontaneity and teamwork as well as teaching them to focus on "being in the moment".    The level of instruction will be based on the skills of the group.

 
LEGO ENGINEERING WITH NEW PROJECTS
(MULTIPLE CLASSES:  K/TK AND 1st-5th)


This Class will help your Child develop skills that will help to get him/her prepared to compete in the First Lego League and the WISH Robotics-Botball Teams

Students  love to build & play with mechanized projects and structures that make their imaginations soar! Lego Engineering is a project-based program that teaches students the principles and methods of engineering, architecture and science using Lego! Students build exciting NEW projects each week.  This Class will promote problem-solving skills, creativity, basic math concepts, self-reliance and self-confidence. And they have tons of fun while learning to build specific structures and then using their creativity to continue building with more structural and decorative parts.  Min/Max:  10/16 per Class for K/TK and 10/20 for 1st-5th

FOR NEW (K/TK) AND OR LESS ADVANCED STUDENTS-NEW PROJECTS:
Students who are relatively new to Engineering with Lego will have the opportunity to learn to build less complex machines and structures with motors, gears and pulleys until they are ready to advance to more complex projects.  New Projects will include:  Catapults and Castles, Airplanes and Conveyor Belts

FOR THE EXPERIENCED AND MORE ADVANCED STUDENTS-NEW PROJECTS (1st-5th):
Students who have participated in our Lego Engineering Classes before and/or who are proficient building structures, with gears, pulleys and motors will be offered new and MORE ADVANCED structures to build and play with.  Some classes will include a competition between Students.  New Projects will inlcude:  Skid Steering Tanks (with double motors and controls0, Tower Challenge, Corbal Arch Bridge.

K/TK Students

This Program is designed for those Families who would like their Children to continue taking Enrichment Classes at WISH Charter after School until 4:05 pm (e.g. if they have an older sibling who is going to be participating in our Enrichment Classes from 3:05-4:05 OR if they are in GAP and would like to be able to pick their K/TK and 1st-5th Grade Sibling at the Same Time.
Parents can enroll their K/TK Child in our Acting/Improve Classes from 3:05-4:05 pm (and we will supervise them from 2:55 to 3:05 pm).


TUESDAYS-10 CLASSES

MUSICAL THEATER (LET'S PUT ON A PLAY)
Multiple Classes:  K/TK and 1st-3rd

Students will have Tons of FUN as they Sing their favorite Musical Theater tunes and learn Dance Choreography for their chosen show that the Students will create with our Instructor.   Parents will be invited to attend a Mini-Performance on the last class.  The Play will be deteremined by the Students and will be influenced by their age and skill level.  Min/Max  K/TK-6/10; 1st-3rd:  6/12

SPORTS

SOCCER & T-BALL (K/TK)
Students will have A LOT OF FUN as they learn and enhance their skills so that they can play Soccer and T-Ball.  During the Soccer classes, Students will learn dribbling, passing and shooting, as well as rules and scoring.   During the T-Ball classes, they will learn and enhance their skills, including catching, throwing, running the bases and hitting.   They will learn teamwork and good sportsmanship as they play mini-games that are designed to help the Students learn the games.  This is a skill development class and not competitive. Min/Max:  6/10

TINKERING WORKSHOP (IMAGINE, DESIGN, BUILD)

Tinkering Workshop for Kindergarten/TK
This Tinkering Workshop is based on reDiscover's amazing Tinkering School LA camps, introduces kindergartners to tinkering using natural and manufactured materials. Junior tinkerers explore materials from rubber bands to plastic struts to giant cardboard tubes. The guided explorations lead into maker/tinker time, where children create artworks and inventions as wild as their imaginations. 
Tinkering Workshop for 1st-5th
Tinkering Workshop, based on reDiscover's amazing Tinkering School LA camps, gives children the tools and materials they need to build, the freedom to fail, and the time to pick themselves back up. Using a variety of familiar and unusual upcycled materials, like bamboo, wood, metal rings, and mylar, tinkerers explore concepts in aerodynamics, assemblage sculpture, and mechanical engineering by making and tinkering with their own projects. Tinkering combines art and engineering to allow children to think with their hands and translate their imaginations into physical objects. Some hand tools may be introduced depending on the age and skill level of the group.

 FITNESS FUN AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Multiple Classes (K/TK and 1st-3rd)

Every week is a NEW ADVENTURE.  Students will have TONS OF FUN and get Increasingly Fit as they learn to warm-up and stretch, learn/play a variety of Sports and Games (such as Dodgebll, Capture the Flag, Color Wars, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Track & Field, Racing though Obstacle Courses that can include, a hurdle,  tunnels, balance beams, cones, etc and playing games.  Min/Max:  6/10

INSPIRED MINDS: STEM 1
Science & Engineering


Students will have a lot of FUN as they are introduced to the Scientific Method whee they will develop and test their Hypotheses.   They will work on Projects using a variety of building and other materials that will include Circuit Sets (where they will learn about electricity, green energy, circuits, etc), Gears where they will team up to build increasingly comlex gear sets, Knex (where they will work with Motors, Gears and Pulleys), Lego (where they will build a variety of bridges and have some Fun competitions (such as who can build the strongest bridge, who can build a strong bridge with the least amount of parts, who can build the tallest bridge that will withstand the force of a rolling ball, etc.).  They will also be introduced to the Scientific Method where they will develop and test their Hypotheses.  

VISUAL ARTS (50/50)
PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART (DRAWING AND PAINTING)


Give your Children the Gift of enhanced self-esteem and self-confidence by unleashing their creativity and enhancing their fine motor skills. 
 
Students will have a Lot of FUN as theyare introduced to Photography, Drawing and Painting.   

Photography:  This will be taught in about 50% of the classes.  Students will have TONS OF FUN as they learn about some famous/outstanding Photographers and develop their techniques for a lifelong enjoyment of photography.   The skills taught will include techniques sch as how to visualize frame, crop and take better pictures.  They will also learn to shoot action pictures and special effects, as well as how to show their work in the form of a portfolio.  Photos will be printed and given the Students in subsequent weeks.

Drawing and Painting:  These will be taught in about 50% of the classes.. This is an excellent class for beginners to Intermediates, as students will become immersed in the world of fine art, build a wide range of skills, and learn a variety of ways to express themselves creatively. Students will be introduced to some Art Masters and their Works of Art.

YOUNG FILMMAKERS WORKSHOP
1st-5th
Students will have TONS OF FUN as they learn the basics of filmmaking, including how a set operates, the different positions on a film crew, and basic screenwriting, directing, and shooting principles. Together they will write, shoot, and act in a short 5-10 minute film, which will be edited by the instructor.   Students will be given a copy of the DVD (or it will be mailed following the class)

CHESS 
Multiple Classes (TK/K, 1st-5th)
Learning and playing Chess will seem like fun and games to your children, but as they learn this game played by Kings, they will learn to focus and increase their concentration, build their memory and sequencing skills and enhance their problem solving skills; all are keys to their future academic success.  During this session, the Students will learn the FUNdamentals of Chess including some basic strategies. For "Advanced Beginners" and "Intermediates", more rules and additional strategies will be taught, depending on the age and skill level of the group, including controlling the center of the  Chess Board, Positioning and  Tactics. Min/Max:  6/14


HIP HOP
Multiple Classes (K and 1st-3rd)
Kelsey B. is Back

Students will "Get their Groove on", get a great workout  and  have TONS OF FUN learning today’s pop culture style of dance.  Children will learn to move to their favorite songs and learn routines to music created by their favorite artists.  In this class, children will not stop jumping, clapping, turning and performing today’s most popular moves. Not only is this class a great workout, but it is a fun way for children to learn rhythm and coordination. They will put on a Mini-Performance on the last day of class to show off all of their cool grooves.  Min/Max: 6/12
 
SPORTS MANIA
(Kindergarten/TK and 1st-2nd)


This is a FUN Class where Students will learn the fundamentals of Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball and possibly other Sports that they express an interest in. Each Sport will be taught/played for 3-4 weeks before moving on to the next one.  Other Sports may be taught based on the Student's Interests.  The Skills taught will be based on the age and skill level of the Students.
Min/Max: 6/12  

DANCE AND SPORTS BUDDIES
5th Grade Only

The idea for this Class came from a Survey Response form a WISH Community School Parent who suggested that it would be great if her younger, Kindergarten Student could have an opportunity to interact and learn from older Students.  5th Grade Students will have the opportunity to learn to work with  a K-2nd Grade Student and become his/her Buddy, while assisting him/her with his/her Class Activities (either during our Sports Mania Classes or Hip Hop Classes. Min/Max:  6/12


FRIDAYS-9 CLASSES

CERAMICS
Multiple Classes (K/TK and 1st-5th)
Ms. Sochar is back

Students will have a Lot of FUN creating both ceramic sculptures and functional art pieces.  They will learn slab construction and hand building technique with water clay that is fired in a kiln, then glazed or painted.  Kids will incorporate sculpture with their uniqure functional artworks. You can see some prior, completed Ceramics Projects from prior Sessions by CLICKING HERE. Includes all materials. 
Min/Max: 6/10 per Class
 
MARTIAL ARTS WTH BELTS/STRIPES
MULTIPLE CLASSES:  TK/K AND 1st-5th

Students will enjoy learning the FUNdamentals of Martial Arts, including stance, punches, kicks and blocks. They will warm-up and stretch at the beginning of each class and cool down at the end of class. Emphasis will be placed on safety, the use of their new skills for self-defense only and respect. The benefits of these classes will include learning discipline and focus as well as enhanced self-confidence and self-esteem. The skills taught will depend on the level of the group.  All Students will receive a White or Yellow Belt, etc. (depending on their level) and will be tested for their Stripes and increased Levels/Belts.  Parents will be invited to the last day of class as the Students are being tested for their belts or stripes.   The skills taught will depend on the age and skill level of the Group and Individuals.

SPORTS-N-SPANISH
Multiple Classes (K/TK and 1st-5th)

Students will have a Lot of Fun as they learn/enhance their Sports Skills while simultaneously learning to understand and speak Spanish.  This will be an immersion model where most of the classes after the 4th one will be taught primarily in Spanish (80% or more).  During the first few classes, they will be taught Spanish Vocablulary and Phrases related to the Sports that they will learn (Basketball and Soccer).  Coach Erik is originally from Mexico and is fluent in both English and Spanish.  Students love his classes as he utilizes both his extensive Sports background and Child Development experiences to connect with and  reach Students.  Erik will begin teaching these Classes on  Friday, January 5, 2018.  Min/Max:  K/TK:  6/10; 1st-3rd:  6/12

RESPONSES TO FAQs
 

1.  WHERE WILL THE 5 STAR ENRICHMENT CLASSES BE TAUGHT?
All of our Enrichment Classes will be taught on the WISH Charter/Orville Wright STEAM Magnet Middle School Campus.  Students will be transferred to our Staff at a designated location after School is over (Wall with large La Ballona mural outside of the Kindergarten Rooms KB and KC). 

2. HOW WILL MY KINDERGARTEN/TK CHILD KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR CLASSES AFTER SCHOOL IS OVER.
Either the Students K/TK Teacher will bring them to us at the La Ballona Mural after School is over OR we will pick them up where the K/TK Teacher bring them after school (inside the School).  They will stay with our Instructors during the entire class. We won't even allow them to walk to the bathrooms alone.  Either oru Instructor, his/her Assistant or our Coordinator will walk him/her there.
3. WHAT IS THE PROCECURE FOR SIGN-IN AND SIGN-OUT
Students will be "checked in" when they arrive; and we will do our best to find them if they don't.
 
PLEASE sign him/her out on our Sign-in/Sign-out Roster before leaving School (this is required, so please don't leave the campus with your Child before signing him/her out on our Sign-in/Sign-out Roster).

 K/TK Parents/Guardians:  Please pick up your Child at the Classt location ( our they may be near the wall with La Ballona Mural) after our Enrichment Classes are over.

1st-5th Grade Parents:  Please pick up your Child at the Classroom/Playground or by the La Ballona Mural after Classes are over. They may be walked to the main WISH Charter gate if Parents are running late.  Students will be required to stay inside the fence until you arrive.
 
We will walk WLA Extended Care Students back to their room after our Enrichment Classes are over.

4.  WHY SHOULD YOUR CHILD PARTCIPATE IN OUR SPORTS AND OTHER ENRICHMENT CLASSES
 
As you probably know, WISH Charter Students in 4th-8th grade have the opportunity to participate on WISH Charter Teams for Sports, Cheerleading, etc. that are involved with the FIYA League
 
We offer a wide range of Sports and Skill Development Classes through our After-School Enrichment Programs that will help your child to learn/enhance his/her  FUNdamental Sports Skills with some limited competition that will help them to get prepared to participate in competitive sports such as with the FIYA League.  We offer Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis  as well as FUN Fitness & Skill Development Classes that should  help Students to develop their Speed, Agility, Stamina and Sports Skills.  We also offer Cheerleading Classes that are FUN and should also help prepare the Students for the WISH-FIYA Cheerleading Teams.  We look forward to working with your Children to develop these skills in K/TK through 3rd Grade so that they can enhance their Skills and Self-Confidence with respect to Sports and so that they can be as competitive as possible when participating in Sports Leagues like the FIYA League.
 
Our other Enrichment Classes also help Parents to achieve a few Goals for their Children such as: 
    a.     Students who participate in a wide range of Enrichment Programs including Sports, Fitness, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Semi-Academic and other Programs during their Elementary and Middle School Years have the opportunity to learn what they enjoy and may find the activities that they are passionate about.
 
    b.   Our Classes help to provide a well-rounded education for your Child.
 
    c.  Our Classes are designed to be Skill Development oriented and FUN
 
    d.  Because all of our Classes are taught on the School's Campus, it is a great convenience for Parents since they are offered after the school day is over.

Get your Child prepared to participate on the WISH Cheerleading Team/Spirit Squad.  Students will have TONS OF FUN  learning FUNdamental Cheerleading Skills as well as NEW choreographed dances and cheers.  Cheerleading moves that the Students will learn will include High V, Low V, T, etc.  Skills that will be taught include Kicks, Jumps, Spirit and TEAMWORK.  Benefits of the classes include enhancing memory and sequencing skills, preparation for more advanced cheerleading classes and the WISH-FIYA Cheerleading Team;  and becoming increasingly fit.  The children will learn to warm-up and stretch at the beginning of each class.  Parents will be invited to a Mini-Performance on the last day of class.  Min/Max:  For K/TK-6/10; For 1st-3rd-6/12

Every week is a NEW ADVENTURE where their imaginations will be stimulated!  Students will have TONS OF FUN learning to warm-up and stretch, moving to music, learning movement, gross motor and coordination skills (e.g., jumping, galloping, hopping, skipping, catching and throwing balls, kicking balls, etc.), using a lot of props (e.g., tunnels, balance beams, cones, various balls, etc.) and playing games.  Min/Max:  6/10

VOLLEYBALL (1st-3rd)
This class is designed to teach FUNdamental skills so those children can learn to play on a recreational and/or competitive Volleyball Team such as for the WISH FIYA League.  Kids will have TONS OF FUN while learning movement skills, eye-hand coordination, bumping, passing, spiking, serving and return of serve, rules and scoring.  Additionally, offense and defense will taught with a focus on learning TEAMWORK.

Using a variety of familiar and unusual upcycled materials, like bamboo, wood, metal rings, and mylar, tinkerers explore concepts in aerodynamics, assemblage sculpture, and mechanical engineering by making and tinkering with their own projects. Tinkering combines art and engineering to allow children to think with their hands and translate their imaginations into physical objects. Some hand tools may be introduced depending on the age and skill level of the group.


AFTER GAP OR AFTER THE ABOVE CLASSES ON TUESDAYS for K/TK Students
This Program is designed for those Families who would like theirK/TK Children to continue taking Enrichment Classes at WISH Charter after School until 4:05 pm (e.g. if they have an older sibling who is going to be participating in our Enrichment Classes from 3:05-4:05 OR if they are in GAP and would like to be able to pick their K/TK and 1st-5th Grade Sibling at the Same Time.
Parents can enroll their K/TK Child in our DYNAMIC SPORTS & PLAYGROUND GAMES CLASSES from 3:05-4:05 pm (and we will supervise them from 2:55 to 3:05 pm).
DYNAMIC SPORTS & PLAYGROUND GAMES
Have your child join us in this SUPER FUN after school program where they will learn to play a variety of Playground and other games such as Jumping Jack Dodgeball, Doctor Dr. Doctor Dodgeball, Water Sponge Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Handball and others.  This unique class focuses on building speed, agility, strong hand-eye coordination, increasing gross motor skill development, teaching strategic thinking, team play and sportsmanship.  Min/Max:  6/10

ART MASTERS WITH MULTI-MEDIA ART 
Multiple Classes:  Kindergarten/TK and 1st-5th
Give your children the Gift of enhanced self-esteem and self-confidence by unleashing their creativity and enhancing their fine motor skills. 
 
Students will have a Lot of FUN as they are exposed to a variety of Art Masters and their artistic techniques, mediums, and famous artworks. Students will focus on drawing, painting, pastels, mixed-media collage, sculpture and more. This is an excellent class for beginners to Intermediates, as students will become immersed in the world of fine art, build a wide range of skills, and learn a variety of ways to express themselves creatively.  Min/Max: 
 


FLAG FOOTBALL AND CAPTURE THE FLAG
(Multiple Classes: K/TK and 1st-3rd)
Students will have TONS OF FUN while playing Capture the Flag and enhancing their skills to play Flag Football.  Skills to be taught include passing, receiving, blocking and punting, with a focus on developing strategies, plays, teamwork, rules and scoring.  They will learn to warm-up and stretch at the beginning of each class.  Benefits including enhancing eye-hand coordination, movement and teamwork skills while becoming increasingly fit.  The Skills taught will be based on the Age and Skill Level of the Group.

YOUNG FILMMAKERS WORKSHOP WITH DVD OF COMPLETED PROJECT
Multiple Classes (K/TK and 1st-5th)
Students will have TONS OF FUN as they learn the basics of filmmaking, including how a set operates, the different positions on a film crew, and basic screenwriting, directing, and shooting principles. Together they will write, shoot, and act in a short 5-10 minute film, which will be edited by the instructor.   Students will be given a copy of the DVD (or it will be mailed following the class)

CHESS 
Multiple Classes (TK/K, 1st-5th)
Learning and playing Chess will seem like fun and games to your children, but as they learn this game played by Kings, they will learn to focus and increase their concentration, build their memory and sequencing skills and enhance their problem solving skills; all are keys to their future academic success.  During this session, the Students will learn the FUNdamentals of Chess including some basic strategies. For "Advanced Beginners" and "Intermediates", more rules and additional strategies will be taught, depending on the age and skill level of the group, including controlling the center of the  Chess Board, Positioning and  Tactics. Min/Max:  6/14


HIP HOP
Multiple Classes (K and 1st-3rd)
Students will "Get their Groove on", get a great workout  and  have TONS OF FUN learning today’s pop culture style of dance.  Children will learn to move to their favorite songs and learn routines to music created by their favorite artists.  In this class, children will not stop jumping, clapping, turning and performing today’s most popular moves. Not only is this class a great workout, but it is a fun way for children to learn rhythm and coordination. They will put on a Mini-Performance on the last day of class to show off all of their cool grooves.  Min/Max: 6/12
 
SPORTS MANIA (Kindergarten/TK and 1st-2nd))
This is a FUN Class where Students will learn the fundamentals of Basketball, Soccer, T-Ball and possibly other Sports that they express an interest in. Each Sport will be taught/played for 3-4 weeks before moving on to the next one.  Other Sports may be taught based on the Student's Interests.  The Skills taught will be based on the age and skill level of the Students.

BASKETBALL FOR GIRLS
Multiple Classes:  Kindergarten/TK and 1st-3rd
Get your Child prepared early to play recreational or competitive Basketball.
 Students will have a Lot of FUN as they improve their Basketball skills.  This Basketball class focuses on solid individual player fundamentals and organized team play.   All students participate in athletic basketball drills that will enhance their skills; and they will play organized Mini-Games to reinforce skills and rules.   Drills and lessons will consist of dribbling, shooting, passing, team strategy and SPORTSMANSHIP!  Min/Max:  6/10 for K/TK and 6/12 for 1st-3rd.

GYMNASTICS-NEW (Multiple Classes:  Kindergarten/TK and 1st-4th Grade)
Students will have a Lot of FUN as they develop/enhance their loco-motor skills, manipulative movements and strength with instruction that includes rolls, cartwheels, hand stands,  jumping off of a Springboard, strength building and tricks using Bars, balance using a Balance Beam and  body awareness.  Your Child will develop his/her coordination skills, confidence , strength, flexibility, discipline   and creativity.  These will serve as “stepping stones” as they progress into more advanced Gymnastics and/or other Sports.  Skills taught will be based on the level of the group and individual.

MARTIAL ARTS WTH BELTS/STRIPES (MULTIPLE CLASSES:  TK/K AND 1st-5th)
Students will enjoy learning the FUNdamentals of Martial Arts, including stance, punches, kicks and blocks. They will warm-up and stretch at the beginning of each class and cool down at the end of class. Emphasis will be placed on safety, the use of their new skills for self-defense only and respect. The benefits of these classes will include learning discipline and focus as well as enhanced self-confidence and self-esteem. The skills taught will depend on the level of the group.  All Students will receive a White or Yellow Belt, etc. (depending on their level) and will be tested for their Stripes and increased Levels/Belts.  Parents will be invited to the last day of class as the Students are being tested for their belts or stripes.   The skills taught will depend on the age and skill level of the Group and Individuals.

RESPONSES TO FAQs
 

1.  WHERE WILL THE 5 STAR ENRICHMENT CLASSES BE TAUGHT?
All of our Enrichment Classes will be taught on the WISH Charter/Orville Wright STEAM Magnet Middle School Campus.  Students will be transferred to our Staff at a designated location after School is over (Wall with large La Ballona mural outside of the Kindergarten Rooms KB and KC). 

2. HOW WILL MY KINDERGARTEN/TK CHILD KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR CLASSES AFTER SCHOOL IS OVER.
Either the Students K/TK Teacher will bring them to us at the La Ballona Mural after School is over OR we will pick them up where the K/TK Teacher bring them after school (inside the School).  They will stay with our Instructors during the entire class. We won't even allow them to walk to the bathrooms alone.  Either oru Instructor, his/her Assistant or our Coordinator will walk him/her there.
3. WHAT IS THE PROCECURE FOR SIGN-IN AND SIGN-OUT
Students will be "checked in" when they arrive; and we will do our best to find them if they don't.
 
PLEASE sign him/her out on our Sign-in/Sign-out Roster before leaving School (this is required, so please don't leave the campus with your Child before signing him/her out on our Sign-in/Sign-out Roster).

 K/TK Parents/Guardians:  Please pick up your Child at the Classt location ( our they may be near the wall with La Ballona Mural) after our Enrichment Classes are over.

1st-5th Grade Parents:  Please pick up your Child at the Classroom/Playground or by the La Ballona Mural after Classes are over. They may be walked to the main WISH Charter gate if Parents are running late.  Students will be required to stay inside the fence until you arrive.
 
We will walk WLA Extended Care Students back to their room after our Enrichment Classes are over.

4.  WHY SHOULD YOUR CHILD PARTCIPATE IN OUR SPORTS AND OTHER ENRICHMENT CLASSES
 
As you probably know, WISH Charter Students in 4th-8th grade have the opportunity to participate on WISH Charter Teams for Sports, Cheerleading, etc. that are involved with the FIYA League
 
We offer a wide range of Sports and Skill Development Classes through our After-School Enrichment Programs that will help your child to learn/enhance his/her  FUNdamental Sports Skills with some limited competition that will help them to get prepared to participate in competitive sports such as with the FIYA League.  We offer Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, T-Ball, Tennis  as well as FUN Fitness & Skill Development Classes that should  help Students to develop their Speed, Agility, Stamina and Sports Skills.  We also offer Cheerleading Classes that are FUN and should also help prepare the Students for the WISH-FIYA Cheerleading Teams.  We look forward to working with your Children to develop these skills in K/TK through 3rd Grade so that they can enhance their Skills and Self-Confidence with respect to Sports and so that they can be as competitive as possible when participating in Sports Leagues like the FIYA League.
 
Our other Enrichment Classes also help Parents to achieve a few Goals for their Children such as: 
    a.     Students who participate in a wide range of Enrichment Programs including Sports, Fitness, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Semi-Academic and other Programs during their Elementary and Middle School Years have the opportunity to learn what they enjoy and may find the activities that they are passionate about.
 
    b.   Our Classes help to provide a well-rounded education for your Child.
 
    c.  Our Classes are designed to be Skill Development oriented and FUN
 
    d.  Because all of our Classes are taught on the School's Campus, it is a great convenience for Parents since they are offered after the school day is over.
